The Hall is a thriving and successful selective preparatory school for boys in North London providing a broad, high-calibre education for all of our 460 pupils aged 4 -13. We aim to ensure a happy, secure and energetic community in which our pupils and staff can flourish.
The Hall School Maths Department instils the boys with enjoyment and precision in mathematics, so that they develop confidence and fluency with numeracy skills and learn to present working clearly, using mathematical notation. We endeavour to inspire mathematicians by balancing the learning of algorithms with investigative work, problem solving, efficient use of a calculator as a tool and good mental arithmetic skills.
We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths to teach Years 5 – 8 up to Scholarship level. We welcome applications from across the full range of school settings.
