Are you an inspirational and motivated teacher who has a passion for developing Mathematics for young people? The successful candidate will be joining a team of committed and highly motivated colleagues who are seeking to establish the department as ‘outstanding’. The post-holder will support the department in the delivery of an innovative curriculum which raises aspirations, levels of enjoyment, achievement and the quality of learning and teaching in Mathematics at all Key Stages.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a passion for learning and teaching Mathematics
  • Have a good degree and the ability to teach to all levels
  • Be an excellent teacher
  • Have a proven track record of student achievement
  • Understand the needs of students and how to remove learning barriers
  • Be a motivating, innovative and imaginative teacher and leader
  • Have a range of highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Have good communication skills and the ability to manage resources
