A teacher of mathematics is required to join our excellent Mathematics Faculty and teach to GCSE. The position is for one-year fixed term to cover maternity leave in the first instance. This post is suitable for an NQT.

About Albany Academy
Albany Academy is a secondary academy located in the market town of Chorley, Lancashire. First opened in 1959, the school has previously been known as Albany Science School, adopting its current name in 2012 following its conversion to academy status. The school is co-educational, with around 698 pupils on roll aged 11-16, making it smaller than the average secondary school. Co-educational, Albany Academy covers an economically diverse catchment area, a fact reflected in the school’s student intake. The school is a leading part of the Albany Learning Trust, formed in 2012.
