We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious and highly motivated Teacher of Maths.  Crestwood School is a founder member of the Invictus Education Trust together with Ellowes Hall Sports College, Ounsdale High School and Kinver High School. We are recruiting for this new position to allow for our increasing numbers in September 2019. 


The Role

To provide an effective education to students within the framework provided by the Headteacher and     Governing Body and with regard to all statutory requirements and the professional standards for teachers.


The successful candidate will be: 

a good/outstanding classroom practitioner 

able to raise student achievement in Maths

able to support whole school initiatives designed to raise standards 

a team player in our pursuit of ‘Outstanding’

The Crestwood School is a secondary school for children between the ages of 11 and 16. It is a coeducational establishment which was converted to academy status in March 2015. It is based in the town of Kingswinford, West Midlands, in Dudley. At present, the Crestwood School has around 645 students being educated at the establishment. 

Crestwood School and Sixth Form exists to provide an unrivalled learning environment for the young people in our local and wider community. Through our teaching and pastoral care we aim to develop independent young people with a thirst for learning. We encourage students to strive to make more progress than is expected of them. We encourage students to strive to achieve more than is expected of them. Our students know, if they do so, they will achieve more success than is expected of them.
