Required from September 2019, or January 2020, an enthusiastic, well qualified teacher of Mathematics to join a highly successful Mathematics Department. Ideally, you will be expected to teach Mathematics across all Key Stages. This is an experienced and established Mathematics department able and committed to supporting, developing and nurturing new teachers.
The post would be an ideal opportunity for a new entrant to the profession or equally attractive to a more experienced colleague who would be able to develop leadership and management skills within the department.
In 2018, our Mathematics department achieved 86% 9-4, 65% 9-5 at GCSE. It is also a very popular subject in our outstanding sixth form with 46% of our students taking a mathematics qualification. (2018 A2 Results: ALPS 4, 57% A*-B, Maths IBS 67% 5+ and Maths Studies 68% 5++
All members of staff working at the school support the aims and ethos of the school and participate in the extensive visits programme.

The Anglo European School is located in the village of Ingatestone in Essex with easy access to the A12 and M25. Ingatestone is also only a 30 minute train journey from Liverpool Street station.

About Anglo European School
Anglo European School is a 11-19, co-educational comprehensive school situated in Ingatestone, Essex. It has approximately 1,415 students.
The school was opened in 1973 after the closure of a secondary modern school led locals to campaign to keep the school open and the Local Authority, Essex, decided to establish a school with a “European Dimension”.
Anglo European School serves local needs but also draw students from across Essex and parts of London. In 1977 it became the first UK state school to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma and in 1995 the first comprehensive school to become a specialist Language college. In 2005 the school established the first co-headship model in a state secondary school.
As a centre of excellence for language learning, the school offers Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish as well as English as an Additional Language and Latin. Up until age 16 all students study two languages other than English.
In the sixth form, students must study one language. They have a choice of A-levels or an opportunity to study the International Baccalaureate Diploma. There is also the chance to study selected parts of the IB Diploma with A-levels. In addition, the International Baccalaureate Career Programme provides an internationally recognised vocational qualification.
