Tes is supporting the appointment of a Teacher of Mathematics to join a Mathematics department and teach pupils from Year 7 to Year 13 at a school based in Essex.
This post would be suitable for someone wishing to gain further experience in a very supportive environment, an ECT or Maths graduate wishing to train as a teacher.
The Mathematics Department has been one of the strongest in the school for a number of years. There have been some outstanding results in public exams in recent years and a number of first-class mathematicians have gone on to Oxbridge, London and other leading universities.
The successful candidate will teach a full timetable to classes in Years 7 to 13 and will have the opportunity to assist the Head of Department carry out the tasks required for both the day to day running, and future development, of the department.
