We are looking for an inspirational teacher of Mathematics. This will be someone who wants to make a difference to the life chances of our students and someone who is absolutely committed to achieving ‘buy in’ to their subject. We seek a talented teacher who knows how to make Maths relevant and fun. We need someone who can encourage and reward perseverance and deliver great results. An ability to also teach ICT/computer science would also be of interest to us.

About Fowey River Academy

Fowey River Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school situated in Fowey, Cornwall. There are approximately 684 students at the school, between the ages of 11-16.

Fowey River Academy was established in 1692 as Fowey Free School, opening to 30 pupils from low income families. The school has since been a boarding and grammar school throughout the years. In 2014, it received academy status, changing its name from Fowey Community College to Fowey River Academy.
