At St Dunstan’s we aim to provide a high quality of education and an environment that supports, nurtures and challenges students to fulfil their potential. St Dunstan’s is part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership (MNSP), a Multi-Academy Trust.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic teacher of Mathematics to join our strong team of subject specialists. The Maths team is committed to inspiring a love of the subject and achieving excellent outcomes for all our students. The GCSE 9-4 pass rate in 2019 was 72% with more than 1 in 4 students at St Dunstan's achieving a higher grade than equivalent students nationally.
The Maths staff are part of a wider team of over 40 Maths teachers in the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership who regularly collaborate to share best practice and support each other to become outstanding practitioners. Being part of the MNSP also provides superb opportunities for career development with most of the Mathematics leadership team having been developed through the excellent range of CPD available within the trust.
Teaching at St Duntan's will provide diverse opportunities for working with students of all abilities as well as becoming involved in a range of curriculum enrichment.
If you have a passion for communicating Mathematical ideas to young people and are willing to go the extra mile to help all students perform to the best of their ability then we want to hear from you!
We welcome applications from NQTs.
Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All successful candidates will be subject to enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks along with other relevant pre-employment checks, including checks with past employers.
