We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Maths to join our maths department which is highly successful both in terms of attainment and progress. Applications are welcome from experienced and newly qualified teachers able to teach Maths throughout the ability range at KS3, KS4 and KS5. Excellent support is available from a very experienced team.
Maths is extremely popular in the Sixth Form, where A level Maths, A level Further Maths and AS Core Maths are studied. Maths is taught in sets to from Year 7 to GCSE with some setting at AS level. The department contributes to the outreach work of the Teaching School, supporting and collaborating with other schools. This work is led by a Maths Specialist Leader in Education and also provides developmental opportunities for other members of the maths team. .
Lampton School is a mixed, multi-ethnic 11-18 school that converted to Academy status in September 2010. We are a National Teaching School and have IIP Status.
