Location: iBOS School- London (All staff members work from our school site in Clapham)

We seek to appoint a Teacher of Mathematics as the School expands and grows. 

The successful applicant must have:  

  • A certified teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent (the PGCE must be accompanied by a subject relevant Bachelor’s Degree). 
  • Exceptional subject knowledge, with extensive experience in teaching the British National Curriculum in Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 
  • Experience in teaching KS4 and KS5 Mathematics (preferably with Pearson International Examinations) 
  • A desire to help build a thriving department in a relatively new school 
  • A proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning 
  • A willingness to take part in extra-curricular activities after school

The successful candidate should also be able to:  

  • Set challenging teaching and learning objectives based on student's knowledge  
  • Plan lessons and sequences of lessons in advance  
  • Plan and prepare resources using ICT  
  • Work with department colleagues to develop schemes of work, teaching methodologies and resources.
