The Grammar School at Leeds (GSAL) are seeking an inspirational and well-qualified teacher of Mathematics to join our successful department from September 2018. This will be on a full time or part time basis by negotiation to suit the successful candidate.
The Mathematics department has an outstanding academic record at GCSE, Advanced level and Oxbridge entry. The department has eleven full time and three part time members of staff, all of whom are subject specialists. The department is well resourced with a wide range of texts, support and enrichment material available for all abilities. Students participate widely in UKMT competitions and in both Individual and Team Challenges.
We are seeking an enthusiastic classroom teacher who is committed to the teaching of mathematics at all levels and who is willing to develop present aspects of the curriculum aiming to further enhance the department’s standing.
The successful candidate will also have strong classroom management skills and will be expected to play a full part in this busy department.
