Job overview

We are seeking a talented and inspirational Teacher of Mathematics to join our team within our outstanding secondary school based in south Leicestershire. In addition to delivering KS4 and 5, we have welcomed our first cohort of year 7 students this September.

The department comprises 20 teachers, two HLTAs and an administrator. We have a dedicated suite of 11 classrooms and a staff room in the heart of the college building. We are excited to be leading one of the 34 National Maths Hubs across England. This is a fantastic initiative to promote maths school-to-school support and leadership in the East Midlands region.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher who can deliver consistent high-quality lessons for our students. All staff teach across the whole range of courses and attainment levels. At Key Stage 3, our curriculum embeds the principles of teaching for mastery in Mathematics. At Key Stage 4, we offer Functional Maths Level 1 and 2, GCSE, Level 2 Further Maths, Core Maths, A level and Further Maths. NQTs are encouraged to apply.

Mathematics is very popular at Beauchamp College with over 500 students choosing to study Mathematics at Key Stage 5. We are proud of our track record and this is accomplished through a collegiate approach, a desire for self-improvement, a good sense of humour and an attitude that is unafraid of change.

This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and supportive employer of choice, who can offer further professional development to any that show potential, willing and want for it.

If you would like to come and have a look round to see us hard at work, don’t hesitate to make contact with our Reception Team to arrange a mutually agreeable time.
