Manchester Mesivta is excited to offer the role of a Mathematics teacher within our rapidly growing school. This is a permanent, full time role to teach up to KS5. We are looking for someone who is passionate about their subject and determined in their mission to impart knowledge, skills and understanding to all of our young people, whilst exciting and engaging them in their learning. The position would suit an experienced teacher or ECT.

By joining Manchester Mesivta you will be working within a centre that boasts small class sizes, exceptional results and performance, and a positive work/life balance.

You should be a committed classroom practitioner with a passion for learning and teaching. You must be able to establish excellent relationships with pupils and colleagues, and work well within a team.

We offer a supportive environment for practitioners to grow and develop their practice, and encourage teachers with a passion for their subject to help offer unique experiences for our learners.

“What is it like to attend this school?

Most pupils like coming to school. They have mostly positive relationships with each other and their teachers. Pupils’ learning is enhanced by lots of clubs and activities outside normal lesson times, including for chess, gardening and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme. Pupils appreciate these extra activities. They have opportunities to care for animals and to bake food in well-equipped rooms.”

If you are interested in this role, please use the attached application forms. Applications should include a personal statement including how you will meet the job description (Section C, question 10 of the application form).

“Pupils achieve well. The proportion gaining five good GCSEs is now above average. This reflects good progress given pupils’ broadly average starting points in Year 7. Teachers plan lessons which interest and motivate pupils. Relationships between teachers and pupils are good. Pupils are confident and keen to learn. Pupils are friendly, courteous and considerate. They have a good understanding of British values and all understand the importance of respect and tolerance.”
