We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic teacher of maths to join our successful, growing and vibrant maths department.

The teaching of maths is a real strength of the school. Students enjoy the subject and do extremely well.

The candidate should have the ability to deliver maths in Key Stages 3 and 4, with a desire to teach maths in Key Stage 5.

Netherhall School is a grant maintained, Local Authority, mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with a sixth form, situated in Maryport, Cumbria. The school achieved its first ever rating of ‘Good’ from Ofsted in 2018, was named Cumbrian Secondary School of the Year later the same year, is host to the Cumbrian Secondary School Teacher of the Year and Cumbrian Secondary School Student of the Year. The school has a rapidly rising intake and the sixth form has over doubled in size in the past few years, with 720 students of age 11-18 currently on roll.
