The Role
We are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher who wants to join an experienced, supportive, committed faculty and make a real difference with our young people. A forward thinking, dynamic teacher, with experience of teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 to 5, will only strengthen our existing team.
The faculty is well-established, well-resourced, and highly supportive. Led by a Head of Faculty and a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the team work collaboratively, always putting the needs of our students at the forefront of what we do. We have spacious and well-equipped classrooms and are in the process of installing brand new interactive smart boards to update existing facilities. We would love to show you round our department and our school. Maths is taught passionately across all year groups, Year 7 through to Post 16.
Results in Maths are on an upward trend, and we are driven to ensure this continues. This role offers you the opportunity to develop and excel as a teacher, within a strong and effective team of practitioners. The Ken Stimpson Community School is a mainstream, state-community, co-educational, non-denominational, secondary school for children aged 11-18. It is situated in Peterborough in Cambridgeshire and there are 1020 pupils on its roll.
