Job overview

The Mathematics Department is seeking to appoint a full-time teacher of Mathematics to teach pupils throughout all year groups from Years 7 to 13.  The ability and enthusiasm to be involved in teaching and extending the most able pupils, many of whom are studying the Further Mathematics course, would be welcomed. Equally, an interest in, or experience of, teaching IB Mathematics would be an advantage.

The post will suit an experienced teacher, as well as one new to the profession or seeking to gain an appropriate teaching qualification.  The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic team within a department with a consistent record of outstanding examination results.

The successful  candidate will be expected to contribute fully to the pastoral and co-curricular life of the Mathematics department and PGS. The school provides excellent professional development opportunities and has an outstanding reputation for the induction of newly qualified teachers.

Interviews are scheduled for Tuesday 16 January.

ISI Report 2022

During an ISI Inspection in late 2022 both the achievement of the pupils, including their academic development and the personal development of the pupils were found to be excellent - the highest possible classification. The Inspection also looked at the School’s compliance with the regulatory standards and requirements. PGS met all the standards required.
