We are seeking a suitably qualified applicant for a 5 week contract, to teach Maths and RE. The successful candidate should meet the following criteria: appropriate qualifications and experience, effective communication skills, an ability to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/carers, an ability to attend to detail in innovative and creative practices, and a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum. Applicants are required to address these points in the "letter of application" section of the on-line application form. As this position requires classroom teaching of Religious Education, applicants must be Catholic.
Trinity College is a co-educational Catholic College with a current enrolment of 814 students from Years 7 – 12. The College is administered by the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane through the Brisbane Catholic Education Office and is a member of Marist Schools of Australia. Trinity College Beenleigh is a mixed, independent, mainstream, secondary school with a sixth form in Beenleigh, Queensland. It has approximately 840 students enrolled and caters to pupils between Year 7 and 12.
Trinity College Beenleigh was founded in 1982 by the Marist Brothers, when asked to do so by the Brisbane Director of Catholic Education. The name is based on the Holy Trinity: the father, the son and the spirit. Th school's pastoral care programs are closely associated with the teachings of Jesus and Saint Marcellin Champagnat, the founder of the Marist Brothers.
