St Paul’s is a selective Independent Day School for boys aged 13-18, occupying a superb 45-acre site on the south bank of the Thames, west of Hammersmith Bridge. St Paul’s School excels academically at both A-level and GCSE, with some of the highest national scores. These endeavours, as well as the work beyond the curriculum, excite students and teachers alike.
Teacher of Mathematics
Commencing Autumn Term 2020
St Paul’s Mathematics department is the largest department in the School, with many pupils studying mathematics post-GCSE. The Departmental philosophy is opposed to acceleration, strongly preferring enrichment, expansion and greater depth.
We value a genuine passion for mathematics, and its teaching at all levels. The successful candidate should also be willing to contribute to the wider life of the School.
Applications are equally welcome from those with experience of teaching and those without.
The School’s salary scale is substantially above the national scale and a subsidised accommodation scheme is available to eligible staff.
Further details and an application form can be obtained from the School’s website: www.stpaulsschool.org.uk/about-st-pauls/work-with-us/ or by email from the High Master’s PA on recruitment @stpaulsschool.org.uk
The closing date for all applications is midday on Tuesday 25 February 2020.
Interviews will take place on Wednesday 4 March 2020.
