£95 – £202.08 PER DAY

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status and experience of teaching in Secondary Schools.

To start 8th March 2021 

Vision for Education is currently recruiting on behalf of an 11-16 Secondary Academy in Sheffield to appoint a Teacher of Mathematics for a short term paternity cover expected to last 4 weeks. This will be a full time role teaching Mathematics mainly across Key Stage 3 with whole teacher duties included. Being a maternity cover, the desired teacher will be able to integrate within the department, working collaboratively with other specialists to plan and deliver exceptional Maths teaching.

The role

As a supply teacher, roles can vary to suit your individual needs. This role in particular would require full time availability and commitment from the reopening of schools on 8th March through to Easter holidays in the first instance. The role would require planning, marking, assessment and any other full time teacher duties within school. You will also be given your own form group.

Requirements

To be considered for the position of Mathematics Teacher, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 

• Have experience teaching in Secondary schools, ideally up to GCSE level.

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Subject specialists.

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
