Are you an exceptional Mathematics teacher with a passion for inspiring young minds? Astrea Academy Sheffield Secondary Phase is looking for a dedicated Teacher of Mathematics to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our scholars.

About the Role: As a Teacher of Mathematics, you will ensure the highest standards of learning, development, and achievement for our scholars. You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and assessing work for all scholars, including those who are absent, suspended, or in isolation. Your role will be pivotal in promoting high standards of attainment, progress, and outcomes for all scholars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote high standards of attainment, progress, and outcomes for all scholars.
  • Plan differentiated teaching to build on scholars’ capabilities and prior knowledge.
  • Guide scholars to reflect on their progress and emerging needs, adapting classroom practice as necessary.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified teacher status.
  • Successful experience of teaching Mathematics at KS3 & KS4.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Mathematics or a closely related subject area.
