Job overview
We wish to appoint a talented and inspirational Teacher of Mathematics from April 2019. The successful candidate will be able to teach across the age and ability range, up to and including GCSE, and applications are equally welcome from experienced or newly qualified teachers.
Maths results at Belvidere have been outstanding for many years, and the successful candidate will join an exceptionally strong and supportive team of teachers who are dedicated to ensuring the students achieve the very best grades they can.
Belvidere is a successful, heavily oversubscribed 11-16 comprehensive school in the county town of Shrewsbury. Exam results are excellent, with all student groups making strong progress. In 2013 Ofsted rated the school as “Outstanding” in all areas.

About Belvidere School
Based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, Belvidere School is a co-educational comprehensive secondary school for children aged between 11 and 16. It is a non-denominational community establishment. At present, there are approximately 850 students enrolled at the school.
In Summer 2024 we will be moving into a brand new state-of-the-art school building, which is an exciting development in the life of our school.
