Stamford High School (SHS), is seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join the very successful and supportive Department at Stamford High School. The post would suit someone looking for a first teaching post or further experience in a large department.
The successful applicant is expected to teach Mathematics to A Level; the opportunity to teach Further Mathematics may be available for a suitable candidate. There is an expectation that they will contribute to departmental activities outside the classroom, e.g. lunchtime and after school clubs, trips and evening lectures, alongside working closely with other team members in the continual development of lessons and work schemes. A willingness to offer support to other aspects of the extra-curricular life of the school, including boarding, is assumed.
