Teacher of Mathematics

Maths and the skills it develops: critical thinking, reasoning, logic and problem solving, are key elements within a Beau Soleil education. Our Maths team work hard to support and challenge students in every phase of the school, from the first forays into algebra in Grade 6, through to the complexities of abstract theorem in IBDP Higher Level classes. Working within the Faculty of STEM,  Maths teachers at Beau Soleil are expected to collaborate and innovate, sharing ideas and pooling strategies to shape a first rate classroom experience for all students.

Amongst other things, you’ll be well organised, have a good sense of humour and will want to participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life including the boarding provision as well as the classroom. Ideally, you will already have a basic level of French language and be keen to develop your language skills.

The closing date for applications is January 5th, 2019.

Successful short listed candidates will be contacted with initial discussions conducted remotely by telephone or Skype. A second round of interviews will take place at the Nord Anglia Education Recruitment Event in central London in the week commencing 21st January 2019 (alternative arrangements will be made for candidates who cannot attend in person).
