Job overview

Millthorpe School is seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly effective teacher to join our mathematics department. Candidates must have a keen interest in the research behind successful teaching and how this can be applied to a mathematics classroom.

The successful candidate must possess the ability to teach across the age and ability range, and be committed to ensuring our students are taught with a depth of understanding to enable them to make significant progress over time.

The Mathematics Department currently consists of five full-time members of staff and one part-time. The Department has a wealth of experienced teachers and a couple of teachers newer to the profession.

The post will provide an opportunity for a qualified and dynamic teacher to join a successful Mathematics Department that is determined to excel.

This is a fixed term role (from 17 April to 31 August 2023) with flexible hours from 0.8FTE to 1.0FTE.

Interviews will be held during the week commencing 20 February 2023.
