We are looking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic teacher of Maths who can join us in achieving exceptional things with our students, and who wants seize the exciting chance to help us develop a creative and innovative curriculum. We have just moved across to our state of the art new building, which means that you will have the chance to establish the highest expectations and standards in a suite of brand new and purpose built facilities.
The length of your experience as a teacher is less important to us than your ability to motivate and inspire. Our new colleague will have an unstinting belief that every young person, whatever their starting point can make and sustain exceptional progress and that our purpose is to change lives.

About The High Weald Academy
High Weald Academy is a small school serving a widespread rural area. There is a calm and orderly environment and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of academy life. The welcoming and family ethos is reflected in our Aspire and Achieve values and in our cohort structure which promotes a strong sense of community and belonging and supports students to develop and flourish both academically and as young people. It is a school completely connected to the local community. High Weald Academy has high expectations of all students and aims to ensure that students achieve the highest possible academic results as well as support them to develop as good citizens able to take their place in the world. We have an active and supportive parent body who are advocates of the work we do and promote the academy positively in the local area.
The academy currently has just under 300 students. The School Farm is outstanding and wins a range of accolades and prizes as a result of the work we do with the community and local primary schools. It also gives opportunities to learn in a different context within and beyond the curriculum.
