Job overview

Due to the retirement of the current post-holder who has been with us since we opened in 2014, an outstanding Maths teacher is required from the start of the 2019/20 academic year to teach;

  • A level Maths
  • A level Further Maths
  • GCSE Maths

The post-holder will be well supported as part of a growing and flourishing STEM faculty. This is an exciting opportunity for someone wanting to work in a growing and flourishing college which has the potential to expand further over the coming years. The post-holder will be required to be innovative, flexible and willing to go the extra mile for our students. For the right candidate we are willing to pay a recruitment and retention allowance, further details can be provided on request.

Salisbury Sixth Form College is a small 6th Form College located in Salisbury, Wiltshire. The college, also known as S6C, was established in 2014 and offers a mixture of A-level and vocational courses.

In 2016, the college moved into a new building specifically outfitted to deliver an advanced-level prospectus. S6C was established to be an intimate, all-encompassing sixth-form college, providing exceptional pastoral support and educational vibrancy to post-16 students.

As a college, our teaching staff are specialists in 16-19 education. We are unique in this position as the only 16-19 specialist college for Level 3 courses in Salisbury. We are lucky to be able to deliver our courses using excellent modern facilities and we offer a broad range of A Level and Vocational / Technical courses.

Our staff have a tireless dedication to improving the standards of academic achievement for all students and have a passionate commitment to success through a culture of high expectation and aspiration.  Students at S6C speak highly of our teachers and support staff.
