The Governors of this successful school are seeking to appoint a permanent, full time outstanding Leader of Numeracy and Co-ordinator of Intervention in Mathematics from September 2017. 

This post is ideal for an excellent teacher who wishes to play a key middle leadership role as part of a growing and dynamic Maths department.  The successful candidate will engage students through creative delivery and is eager to try new ideas in a supportive environment. 

They will work closely with the Head of Department to lead and inspire others to raise attainment through quality teaching which facilitates learning.  Most importantly you will be someone who has vision, energy and enthusiasm - for both students and the subject. 

We are committed to achieving the highest standards for our pupils in a vibrant, well-resourced environment, and will appoint an outstanding, innovative, well-motivated and determined teacher to be part of this progessive department.  

Applications are sought from candidates who are well qualified and able to teach Maths to Grade 9 GCSE level.  All staff at Haydock High School must be able to demonstrate their ability to have a significant impact on the progress of their students.

Haydock High School is a non-denominational secondary school in St Helens, Merseyside. At its most recent inspection, there were 700 students aged 11-16 on the school roll. 

Haydock High School was founded in 1932 and has been fully co-educational since 1947. The village of Haydock has a population of 11,500 and is located midway between Liverpool and Manchester. Facilities at the school are also used by Haydock Community Leisure Centre. The secondary school's library is open from 8am for homework club and after school until 4pm.
