Job overview

APPLICATIONS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED ON THE SCHOOL'S APPLICATION FORM

Respectful pupils + Committed maths teachers = The next generation of mathematicians and fulfilled teachers.

We need a passionate teacher of maths, someone who truly loves their subject, to join our strong team of maths geeks. Whether you’re an ECT or you’ve been teaching maths for decades, if you don’t have an environment in which pupils show their teachers respect, nothing adds up.

The successful candidate will be joining us at an exciting time in the school’s journey. The school joined the Matrix Academy Trust in May 2021 with major changes to systems and structures already embedded. If you have a good track record of excellent teaching with good outcomes and are ready to support a team of staff to reach that same goal, this might be the job for you!

We are looking for someone who wants to be the best. Someone who:

• Is excellent in the classroom and will lead by example;

• Has a proven track record of raising attainment through their teaching and

learning, making a positive impact within and beyond their own classroom;

• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and

inspire.

Safeguarding Notice:

Matrix Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS clearance and preemployment checks in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education.

To arrange a visit in person or remotely, please email the Headteacher,

Mr James Till: jtill@tgbs.co.uk. Please download an application form

from www.matrixacademytrust.co.uk/vacancies/ and send it to the

Headteacher.
