 TEACHER OF MATHS – MPR

Full Time

REQUIRED: 1st September 2021

Moulsham High School is a high performing comprehensive school that was ranked fifth in Essex in the 2019 performance tables. ‘Behaviour is calm and the atmosphere is productive and positive, making it a nice place to be’ (Ofsted 2020).  Leaders have a genuine commitment to the well-being and development of all staff.

We are looking for an outstanding maths specialist, with a commitment to continuing professional development, to join our highly successful maths faculty.  In 2019, 84% students achieved grade 4+ at G.C.S.E. Both maths and further maths are popular options at A Level.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a large, highly supportive and forward looking maths team.  The post is suitable for either an NQT or a more experienced teacher.  The successful candidate will be expected to teach maths up to and including G.C.S.E.  A level teaching could also be available.

NQTS teach a reduced timetable, have a subject mentor and participate in a comprehensive induction programme led by an Assistant Headteacher.

To arrange a visit to the school outside of school hours, please contact Kevin Adams, H.R, using the details below. Alternatively, potential candidates are welcome to telephone the Headteacher, Julia Mead, on 01245 260101 for an informal discussion about the post.

Closing date: Thursday 4th February 2021 at noon
