Cove School is an oversubscribed secondary school in Hampshire. We are within easy commute of London, the historic city of Winchester and the peaceful surroundings of the New Forest. As a growing school we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Mathematics teacher who may be looking for future advancement of their career.
You will have a passion for your subject along with the drive, energy and enthusiasm to work within the existing dynamic team to ensure the strong progress already made in the department is continued. It is essential that you are a good classroom practitioner and a forward looking, creative, enthusiastic educationalist. Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and national developments is essential.
The salary will reflect relevant experience, and the nature and extent of the role is negotiable.
The mathematics department is strong with outcomes in all measures, consistently on or above national average.
Cove School is an 11-16 school and has approximately 1000 pupils on roll. It is an exceptionally exciting time to be at Cove as the school, with strong links to the local authority and a vibrant CPD programme as described by Ofsted (Dec 2018) which includes an excellent developing leaders programme and a dynamic teaching and learning community.
