Abbot’s Hill School wishes to appoint a highly competent and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths for September 2019. Full Time or 0.8 considered.
As part of a dynamic and thriving department, we expect the candidate to assist in the development of the teaching practice within the department; to enthuse, engage, motivate and inspire pupils. The allocated timetable will include teaching Maths in the Senior School but some flexibility is desirable to teach Year 5 or 6 in the Prep School or be able to offer another subject.

The successful candidate will have:
• An excellent track record of raising attainment and examination success at KS4;
• The ability and enthusiasm to motivate pupils in Maths lessons with a track record of outstanding teaching across all Key Stages;
• The ability to raise expectations and aspirations of pupils of all abilities;
• A desire to contribute to the extra-curricular life of this busy, friendly school.

Abbot’s Hill is an all through, inclusive independent day school with the Nursery, Prep and Senior Schools on the same site. We welcome boys and girls in our Nursery and girls from 3-16 years.
