We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and inspiring Teacher of Maths to join our team. 

We are seeking an individual to engage our students through their enthusiasm for the subject; someone who will inspire students beyond the curriculum and expand their cultural knowledge so that they can stand shoulder to shoulder’ with any other young person, from any other background. We want someone who enjoys working with young people, who believes it is a privilege to be a part of their journey into adulthood, and who understands the challenges faced by young people growing up in today's world. 

This is a key time to join Spen Valley High School as we build upon our many strengths and develop a truly coherent provision for our students.  You will work alongside a team of highly professional & dedicated staff who are welcoming, courageous, open-minded and supportive. It is a particularly exciting time to join the school as we embed our new curriculum and continue on our journey to be a Trauma Informed school. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of this transformational change and we are looking for someone who is creative, dynamic, and willing to embrace this challenge head on.
