TEACHER OF MATHS

Haberdashers’ Monmouth School for Girls seeks to appoint a full-time Maths teacher from September 2017. The successful applicant will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and innovative in delivering KS3, IGCSE and A Level Maths and will join an experienced and committed team,  comprising six full-time specialist teachers.

A contribution to the wider life of a day and boarding school, both in pastoral and co-curricular activities, is expected. We offer a friendly and supportive working environment. Haberdashers’ Monmouth School for Girls has its own generous salary scale and benefits above the national  average and is a member of HMC, the Boarding Schools’ Association and Girls’ Schools Association.

Monmouth School For Girls is an independent day and boarding school based in Monmouthshire for girls aged 11-18. 

The school was founded in 1892 and is part of the family of Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools, which owe their existence to William Jones, a liveryman of the Haberdashers’ Company, who bequeathed funds to establish a school in 1614. Entry to the school is selective and, where possible, pupils are interviewed.
