Job overview
The College is aiming to recruit innovative and student focused specialist maths teaching staff, responsible for the planning and successful delivery of the new GCSE maths curriculum. There will also be the requirement to teach Functional Skills maths from Entry to Level 2. You will have a proven track record in teaching maths and engaging students undertaking these subjects as a mandatory requirement as part of their vocational Study Programme.
Successful candidates will be able to:
- Design, develop and deliver high quality teaching to improve students’ maths skills.
- Be flexible, organised and self- motivated to meet deadlines.
- Work effectively as part of the English and Maths Team responsible for supporting learners across the College.
It is essential that you have significant skills, knowledge and experience of teaching maths at GCSE level, with a proven track record to provide a stimulating learning environment and exceptional results.
