Pontefract Academies Trust is a cross phase Multi Academy Trust comprising of eight schools: six primaries and two 11 - 16 secondary schools. The Trust is a medium sized family of schools all located within a tight geographic hub within Pontefract. Students are drawn from the local community that includes a mix of different catchment areas. 

We are seeking to appoint Teachers of Maths to join Carleton High School and The King’s School from September 2019. This is an ideal opportunity for newly qualified or experienced teachers to join our Trust at this exciting time in our journey of improvement.

The successful candidates will be innovative teachers with energy, drive and a desire to raise standards, working in a high performing school. You will have the ability to implement strategies, including interventions, for raising pupil achievement in the classroom and excellent people skills – motivating, nurturing and challenging all our learners to reach their potential. 

You will be joining a Trust which is striving to move forward and embrace change. The Trustees and new Executive Leadership Team are very supportive of the Schools and our ethos, whilst providing the necessary challenge to secure excellence and career progression and development opportunities.
