The Role

We are seeking an outstanding individual to raise standards of student attainment and achievement within the whole faculty area and monitor and support student progress.


TLR 2b offered to suitable candidates with role and responsibilities to be discussed

at interview and designed around the strengths of the individual candidate.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• To design, implement and evaluate the faculty strategy for raising the standards of

student attainment and achievement

• To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/Tutor.

• To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the

opportunity to achieve their individual potential.

Harwich and Dovercourt High School (HDHS) is a popular, mixed 11-18 comprehensive situated on the north-east Essex coast. As one of the only Reading Schools in the country, we are bursting with innovative practice designed to nourish a love of literature and this forms a cornerstone of our curriculum in all subject areas.
