We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspiring, committed and well qualified Teacher of Maths to join the STEM Faculty at Saint Felix School.
The successful candidate should be able to teach Maths across the whole age and ability range, Year 7 to Year 13. The post holder will be expected to take part in the future development of the subject both within the curriculum and the extra-curricular programme.
Maths is a popular and highly valued subjects at both GCSE and A Level where students follow the Edexcel GCSE and in the Sixth Form, they have the opportunity to study the Edexcel A Level Maths course.
Saint Felix School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school for students aged from 2 to 18, located close to the glorious seaside town of Southwold on the Suffolk coast. Our aim is to develop well-rounded students with the skills and the personality to make a success of their lives during and after their school years.

The Maths faculty are a vibrant, forward-thinking department. We have high expectations and provide suitable challenges. Learning takes place in an environment of mutual respect between teachers and learners where the School Values and Learner Profile provide a clear foundation. We also aim to give pupils the confidence to make appropriate use of ICT facilities to support their learning.
We are looking for a Maths teacher who will be able to;
- Deliver exciting and inspiring Maths lessons across Prep and Senior. The ideal candidate will have ability or potential to teach A Level and GCSE
- Actively support the co-curricular programme at Saint Felix.
- Work with pupils of all ability and encourage pupils to develop and reach their potential in Maths.
This position would suit an experienced teacher or an ECT looking for their first teaching position. As a smaller school with a community culture, you will soon appreciate the warmth and sense of friendliness that embodies the institution.

Saint Felix, Southwold has been providing educational excellence for 120 years. A co-educational independent school for boarders and day pupils from the ages of 2 to 18.
Boarding at Saint Felix caters for full, weekly and flexi-boarders between the ages of 9-18 in three boarding houses situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Suffolk coast.
