The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and excellent teacher to join the successful and ambitious Mathematics department. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a good school and contribute to a key area of the curriculum. The Mathematics department is forward thinking and strongly committed to driving the high standards expected of staff and students at Castle View Enterprise Academy. In the Mathematics department you will find dedicated, professional and enthusiastic staff with a strong team ethos.
The role will appeal to an ambitious candidate, looking to develop in a good school, which is continuously improving. The role is suitable for teachers of all experience levels, including NQTs, who will be fully supported through their induction year. The CPD offered in the academy is very strong and a full individualised training and induction programme will be put in place for all teachers.
The Mathematics department is well-established and successful with strong results, including:
· An A*-C figure above 70% for the past 5 years
· In 2015 Mathematics achieved 71% A*-C at GCSE in 2017 with 12% achieving A*/A
· A highly supportive team environment, underpinned by strong relationships with students.
