Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join a strong team of specialist teachers. The successful candidate will liaise and support the Director of Maths in raising student standards and contribute to the development of the Key Stage curriculum across the department. 

We have a relentless focus on developing the best teaching possible that ensures student outcomes so if successful, you will be joining one of the top performing non-selective schools in the local area, having just recorded the best results the school has ever seen.

Rastrick High School is a large mixed gender school with Academy status situated in Calderdale, neighboured by the towns of Brighouse and Elland in the heart of West Yorkshire, close to Junction 25 of the M62 meaning we are just 25 minutes from Leeds and only 35 minutes from Manchester.

Rastrick High School is also part of the Polaris Multi Academy Trust (MAT). The Polaris MAT has a reputation as an outstanding employer. This great reputation is built on the
