The school has been through a tough time. For years, pupils have routinely achieved some of the poorest results in the country. But that time is coming to an end and we need you to play a key role in the next stage of the school’s transformation.
In 2015, Bloxwich Academy (formerly Mirus Academy) was taken over by the successful and rapidly expanding Matrix Academy Trust. Behaviour at the academy has improved greatly with better teaching and learning, effective leadership and management. ‘There is a positive climate for learning in lessons and relationships between staff and pupils are strong. Pupils respond well to their teachers and complete their tasks willingly’ (HMI March 2017).
