Higham Lane School is a high-performing 11-18 comprehensive academy with approximately 1390 students on roll, based on an attractive site in the north east of Nuneaton on the Warwickshire-Leicestershire border.
Our school is very popular and well regarded; it is heavily over-subscribed at entry. Our students have the benefits of working in a school that has a happy, caring and purposeful environment. The School’s mission is: “Helping learners succeed” and our students are encouraged to do their very best in every aspect of their lives and to reach the highest standards.
We are looking to make a permanent appointment for September 2018 of a dynamic full-time or part-time permanent Teacher of Maths to role model high quality learning and teaching and to maximise the achievement of students.
We believe this is an exciting opportunity for a newly-qualified or experienced teacher to join our successful, high-performing and friendly Maths Department. We believe this is an exciting opportunity, which will make a key contribution to further enhancing the learning of our students.
Applications are invited from suitably-qualified, experienced and enthusiastic teachers to teach Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The ability to teach Maths to Key Stage 5 level would also be desirable, but is not essential.
