New Entrants to the profession will receive a bonus payment of £1500 at the end of their fourth term on successful completion of their NQT year.
Teacher of Maths
We are seeking an ambitious and inspirational classroom practitioner. We wish to appoint an exceptional individual who has the necessary skills and attributes to have a real impact upon Maths learning and teaching at Bohunt Worthing. Potential is as important as experience so applications are invited from NQTs as well as more experienced colleagues. Bohunt School Worthing is a new Academy that opened in September 2015 with Year 7 and 8 only. We moved into state of the art buildings in summer 2016 and by September we will have Years 7-10 (600 students) with the top two years studying the GCSE maths course.
Maths is part of the STEM faculty which currently consists of nine teachers and will grow to 13 in September with our new intake of 180 additional students. The faculty is committed to trialling new ideas in the classroom and works hard to provide engaging activities and lessons to ensure that all students have every opportunity to make excellent progress.
