 Teacher of Maths  - Full time with TLR 2a - for January 2018

Bishop Walsh is a great place to teach where children enjoy learning. We believe in leading pupils to academic excellence, spiritual development and social awareness.

The Maths department is a thriving and successful department and we are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative teacher to join our team. A TLR 2a allowance is available to assist the Head of Department with some aspect of the running of the department.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach maths across the full range of abilities from age 11 – 16, and hopefully contribute to A level teaching too.

The post commences January 2018.

The school became part of The John Paul II Multi Academy Company with its Catholic partner primary schools on 1st January 2014.

Bishop Walsh Catholic School is a mixed, comprehensive, Roman Catholic secondary school with sixth form situated in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands. It converted to academy status in January 2014 and is supported by a multi-academy trust called John Paul II Multi-Academy, which sponsors four faith schools in the Midlands area. 

An average-sized secondary school, Bishop Walsh provides 1,067 places for students aged 11-18 when fully subscribed.
