The Challenge Academy Trust (TCAT) is looking to appoint an inspiring and dynamic Teacher of Media and Film Studies to be based at Priestley College.
Media Studies and Film Studies are an integral part of the Faculty of Humanities, Language, Culture and Media (HLCM), which is a very successful and thriving part of Priestley College. We are looking for a well-qualified and informed Media and Film practitioner who is fully engaged with all aspects of the modern media, and the debates that surround them. The post would be suitable for an NQT.
Responsible to: The Head of Faculty of Humanities, Language, Culture and Media (HLCM)
Contractual Terms: NJC Terms and Conditions for Teaching Staff in Sixth Form Colleges
Working Arrangements: Full-Time - Maternity Cover - Temporary for one term (Sep-Dec 2019)
Start Date: 1st September 2019 (subject to successful pre-employment checks including a DBS check or a check against the DBS Update Service if registered)
Salary: Main Grade Teaching Scale, up to £39,329 per annum
Pension Scheme: Teachers' Pension Scheme
