Hours:                  Part-time, approx. 0.2 (additional hours may be available)

Responsible to:    Head of English Faculty

Start date:         September 2021

Contract: Part-time, until July 2022

Required for September 2021 a well-qualified Teacher of Media Studies to teach A Level Media Studies in a faculty which achieves excellent results and high standards. We are looking for an enthusiastic and imaginative individual to join an outstanding and committed English Faculty. Media Studies is a well-established course and exam results at BHGS are consistently above national averages.  This is a part-time position, but additional hours may be available for candidates able to teach other subjects. This is an exciting opportunity to join the school at a time of growth and development.  Our Progress 8 and Attainment 8 figures are above average and we aim even higher! 

Bishop’s Hatfield Girls’ School is an expanding academy trust with 893 pupils currently on roll including the Sixth Form.
