The School is looking to appoint a well-qualified, excellent classroom practitioner to lead, manage and develop the provision of MFL within the school and to ensure appropriate monitoring, analysis and evaluation. At Selly Park 100% of pupils are entered for GCSE languages in Year 11.
The successful applicant will be expected to work with the Head of Department to lead the department’s strategic and operational development. We welcome applications from teachers at any stage of their teaching career, including NQTs.
The successful candidate should be a teacher of imagination and commitment, it is essential you are able to teach Spanish to GCSE Level and French to KS3, it is desirable that you will be able to teach French to GCSE level. We are looking for a candidate who is keen to work with pupils of all abilities in a well-resourced and modern department. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual who is keen to take advantage of our teacher development programmes and further enhance pupil progress.
