We are seeking to appoint a teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to contribute to the ongoing development of the faculty. A commitment to promoting the highest possible academic success and all-round development of our students is essential. The successful candidate will:
- have the ability to teach French to Key Stages 3 and 4
- have excellent communication skills
- inspire and motivate students to achieve their potential
- demonstrate a commitment to the school’s extra-curricular activities
- plan languages trips both locally and overseas
The successful candidate will have an affinity with young people and be outward thinking in their approach to teaching and learning with the enthusiasm to develop these popular subjects and a vision to continue the excellent work already undertaken. A feature of MFL is strong student-teacher relationships with staff regularly running after-school revision sessions and extra-curricular clubs. The ability to work effectively as part of a team and uphold the departmental ethos is therefore essential.
You must have very good subject knowledge and be committed to raising the achievement and aspirations of all students.
