Job overview
Students must leave education valuing the ability to confidently converse in additional languages, having an understanding of other cultures, with tolerant attitudes and empathy towards others. We are looking to appoint a dynamic MFL teacher who is innovative and inspiring with ability to engage our students, giving them an appetite for learning new languages. The successful candidate will share our values and be passionate about inspiring all students to share their enthusiasm about their subject.
We are looking for a teacher who has:
- A shared commitment to our values and to forming positive working relationships with our community.
- Experience of excellent, inspirational teaching French, preferably up to Key Stage 5. Experience of teaching Italian up to Key Stage 5 is desirable, but not essential.
- Commitment to their own professional development and a culture of open professional dialogue
- Passion for combating social disadvantage and generating social capital
- Enthusiasm for delivering innovation in curriculum and assessment.
