Townley Grammar School is a multicultural girls’ selective school with specialism in Mathematics and Computing with Performing and Visual Arts.

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified teacher of German or Spanish to Key Stage 5. Ability to teach any other language (French, German or Spanish) to Key Stage 3 essential. 

Rated as Outstanding by OFSTED in November 2015, key findings include:

Requirements

We are looking for an ambitious and inspirational teacher of MFL German or Spanish to join a well-resourced, highly skilled and successful MFL cluster. We have developing international links, and languages have a vital link to other subjects across the school.

Successful applicant must be able to teach any of the other modern languages studied at this school (French, German and Spanish) to Key Stage 3.

We offer a full and robust induction programme for all new members of staff as part of the school’s Staff Development Programme with further support for staff new to the teaching profession. We encourage professional development across the school including opportunities to share ideas for improving teaching and learning.
