Outwood Academy Newbold is one of 31 schools in Outwood Grange Academies Trust, it is a warm and welcoming school where students love to learn and are motivated to achieve. In MFL there is a dedicated team of Directors who provide subject specific CPD and in school support to ensure that quality teaching and learning leads to outstanding outcomes for all students.

The MFL Faculty achieved excellent results (100 grade 9-5 in French and German) in 2018 and are set to improve on this high standard this year! The post is a key appointment in terms of enhancing and ensuring the positive life chances for our students through success and achievement. As such we are keen to recruit a dedicated and ambitious professional who will add value to our Academy in both academic terms and through involvement in the fabric of learning and success beyond the classroom. The person we are seeking to appoint must specialise in German to KS5 with Spanish as a second language. They will be enthusiastic and motivated in order to develop the life chances of our young people through inspirational and successful teaching.

In line with the Government’s announcement, our academy is closed until further notice. However, we are still busily planning ahead for the forthcoming academic year and are excited about welcoming new recruits to come and join us. 

In place of academy based interviews, we have set up systems to ensure that alternative options are still available via skype/video conferencing wherever possible. Every effort will be made to try and accommodate any specific requirements so that no-one is at a disadvantage.
